The role covers civil works, mounting structures, electrical installation, grid connection interfaces, and contractor coordination to ensure safe, on-time delivery of the project. Contract Details

Freelance, 12-month contract.
Immediate start; full-time on-site.
Competitive daily rate; travel/accommodation support negotiable.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in construction management for PV, wind, or similar infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of German construction practices and standards (VDE, DIN).
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience with utility-scale PV balance-of-plant and grid-connection works.
Excellent communication skills; English required, German highly preferred.
Strong reporting, scheduling, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day site construction operations and supervise all contractors.
Oversee civil, mechanical, and electrical workstreams (piling, structures, modules, cabling, MV/HV).
Ensure construction activities comply with design, quality, HSE standards, and German regulations.
Manage schedule, progress reporting, construction documentation, and site logistics.
Interface with EPC, engineering teams, local authorities, and grid operator.
Perform QA/QC checks, resolve technical issues, and coordinate commissioning support.
Drive site safety culture and enforce all HSE procedures and toolbox meetings.
