About the job Managing Director - EV & Solar PV - Northern Germany Are you ready to lead the growth of a high-impact renewable energy business? We’re seeking an entrepreneurial General Manager to take charge of day-to-day operations and commercial management, helping to scale a fast-growing company driving Germany’s clean energy transition. The Company A German renewable energy developer focused on solar, battery storage, and EV charging infrastructure. The company plans, builds, and operates projects that enable a clean, decentralised energy system, working closely with local communities and partners. Based in northern Germany, it combines entrepreneurial agility and technical expertise to drive the expansion of renewable-powered mobility.

Requirements

The Person

Proven leadership experience - Ideally 8+ years in energy, infrastructure, or related sectors.
Strong commercial and contractual acumen (PPAs, project development, financial modelling).
Renewable energy development (PV, BESS, EV charging)
Charging point operator (CPO) experience
Large EPC or infrastructure project leadership
Strategic thinker with operational discipline and regulatory awareness.
Entrepreneurial mindset, able to build, adapt, and grow

Responsibilities

The Role

Lead daily operations and full P&L responsibility.
Drive commercial strategy, financial planning, and project viability modelling.
Oversee contractual frameworks, PPAs, and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate project delivery across a pipeline of ~30 renewable energy sites.
Grow and mentor a capable internal team (currently 5–6 people).
Act as a key decision-maker alongside the leadership team.
