About the job A leading international energy group is hiring a Project Development Manager / New Projects Manager to drive the expansion of its renewable energy portfolio across Germany. This is a confidential search for one of Europe’s most exciting IPP-backed players and they are scaling fast. This role gives you real influence, real responsibility, and a profit-share structure rarely seen in the market. You will lead the full lifecycle development of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects — from greenfield site identification through to sell-down and investment decision. Expect a role with real autonomy, where your ideas, your network, and your commercial instincts are valued. What you'll Lead: Grow a diverse German pipeline across solar, BESS and emerging renewable technologies Originate and secure new development sites (with support from GIS & land teams) Oversee feasibility, concept design, permitting and technical studies Manage multidisciplinary contractors across land, engineering, permitting, and environmental Drive robust front-end development to ensure projects are ready for divestment Refine projects from both a technical and commercial lens ahead of investment decisions Support the sell-down process alongside the core team Represent the company at industry events, conferences & stakeholder meetings Provide consistent reporting and progress updates across the project portfolio If you’re looking for a role where you can own projects end-to-end, be rewarded for performance, and join a team with big ambitions in Germany’s renewable energy landscape, I’d love to speak with you.
