About the job
Responsibilities:
- Primary person in charge of EPC project implementation and process management.
- Be fully responsible for project planning and management, and supervise project members to carry out various tasks, and ensure the performance of the contract.
- Focus on controlling project progress (most importantly meet the level 1 plan), quality, safety, cost, risk and personnel deployment and recruitment for execution.
- Support BD team to assess the feasibility of the project opportunities, pipelines (site visits may be required)
- Monitor the status of Backlog (ready-to-build in 3-6 months) projects and be responsible to organize the team (site team and HQ supporting team) to finish the kick-off process as per company’s rule, and initiate procurement requests to procurement team in OA.
- Be major responsible for cash-flow management for the projects (preferably positive cash flow) and apply payment requests in OA
- Support M&A team of sales of the projects and EPC contract negotiations
- Follow the company’s QEHS rule, cost management rule, schedule management rule and equipment and material management rule etc., and as well as comply local codes and standards.
- Be responsible to lead the team and get the COD documents
- Be responsible for projects’ acceptance (both internal and external) and warranty management
- Make proper report to HQ and Country’s management. (such as daily and weekly report)
- Establish/Hire team members to successfully execute the projects.
- Fluent in English, know Georgia/Poland/Romania/Serbia language of above mentioned countries is a plus; skilled in MS project/P6 and project schedule planning and resource planning; skilled and organized in reporting.
- More than 5 years of being a PM and 3 years in Utility PV field (cumulative experience as a PM for more than 150MWp in recent 3 years), BESS/Wind experience is a plus.
- Executed renewable projects in Georgia/Turkey/Easten European as an EPC and familiar with international standards and best practices, including contract terms and related PV/Electrical/Commissioning knowledge. Have resources in contractor is a plus.
- Able to identify potential execution risks and take prompt counter measures to mitigate the foreseen risks.
- Able to manage the EPC contract execution and draft letters is a plus.
- Able to handle 2 projects at the same time in the same country
- Honest, fast learner, adaptable, passionate, and enthusiastic in work.
